North West has grown up in the public eye, so it is hardly surprising that people notice how much she changes from one appearance to the next. As the eldest child of Kim Kardashian and Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, she has appeared at fashion events, concerts, family outings and performances since childhood.
That visibility has also created plenty of online curiosity about relatively ordinary details, including how tall is North West.
The most accurate answer is that North West’s current height has not been officially confirmed by her family or a reliable primary source. Various websites publish specific figures, but those numbers often conflict and are usually presented without evidence.
Because she is still a growing teenager, any precise figure should therefore be treated as an estimate rather than a verified measurement.
Is North West’s Exact Height Publicly Confirmed?
At present, there does not appear to be a trustworthy, publicly confirmed measurement for North West’s height.
This distinction matters because celebrity information sites frequently publish height figures as though they are established facts. In North’s case, those figures can differ considerably from one website to another. Some older pages even display measurements that are obviously outdated because they were recorded or estimated when she was much younger.
A recent biography page, for example, explicitly notes that her height has not been officially disclosed and warns that specific measurements circulating on fan websites remain unverified.
For readers looking for a simple answer, it is tempting to choose whichever figure appears most often in search results. That is not necessarily reliable. Repetition online does not turn an estimate into a confirmed fact.
The safest conclusion is straightforward: North appears relatively tall in recent public appearances, but there is no authoritative current measurement available.
How Old Is North West in 2026?
North West was born on 15 June 2013. That means she turned 13 on 15 June 2026. Recent coverage from both ELLE and People identifies her as Kim Kardashian and Ye’s eldest child and documents her growing involvement in music and live performance.
Her age is particularly important when discussing height.
A person’s height at 13 is not necessarily close to their final adult height. Adolescents can continue growing for several years, although the timing and amount of growth varies greatly from person to person.
That makes older celebrity profile pages particularly unreliable for this topic. A measurement published when North was eight, nine or ten years old would obviously not tell readers how tall she is now.
Why Do Websites Give Different Heights for North West?
There are several reasons for the conflicting numbers seen online.
Old information stays online
Celebrity biography websites are not always updated regularly. A page may display an age, height or other detail from several years earlier while still appearing prominently in search results.
One example found during research lists North at just 3 feet 1 inch while simultaneously referring to information from 2023. That measurement is clearly unsuitable as a dependable current figure and demonstrates why these profile pages need to be treated cautiously.
Estimates are often presented as facts
Some sites simply estimate celebrity heights by looking at photographs or comparing people standing together.
That can produce very different answers depending on which photographs are used.
A responsible article should distinguish between:
- an officially reported measurement;
- an estimate based on photographs;
- an outdated measurement;
- and an unsupported figure copied from another website.
For North, the first category currently appears to be unavailable.
She is still growing
Even a genuinely accurate measurement from last year could already be out of date.
Height changes are much more relevant when discussing teenagers than adults. A celebrity profile can list an adult actor’s height for years without needing revision, but the same approach does not work well for someone who is 13.
Why North West Can Look Taller in Some Photos
Photographs are surprisingly poor tools for estimating height.
A person may look several inches taller or shorter depending on the camera position, footwear, posture and where they are standing.
For example, low camera angles often make the person closest to the lens appear taller. Wide-angle phone cameras can also exaggerate proportions, particularly near the edges of the frame.
Footwear makes another obvious difference. Thick-soled trainers, boots and platform shoes can noticeably change someone’s apparent height.
Then there is posture. One person may be standing completely upright while another is leaning, bending a knee or turning towards the camera.
Celebrity photos introduce even more variables because people may be standing on different parts of a stage, pavement, carpet or platform.
This is why comparing North with Kim Kardashian, Ye or another celebrity in a photograph cannot establish a reliable measurement.
At most, photographs can suggest that someone has grown.
Has North West Become Noticeably Taller?
Recent public appearances certainly show that North has grown significantly compared with photographs from her childhood. That is exactly what would be expected for someone entering her teenage years.
She has also become increasingly visible independently of her parents.
In September 2026, People reported that the 13-year-old headlined her first solo concert at The Vic Theatre in Chicago, with both Kim Kardashian and Ye attending.
ELLE has likewise documented her creative interests and increasing involvement in music, including the release of her first EP and her development as a performer.
These newer photographs and appearances naturally attract more attention to how much she has grown. However, visual comparison still cannot provide an exact height.
How Tall Is North Compared With Kim Kardashian?
This is another popular way people try to estimate North’s height.
Kim Kardashian has frequently been described in entertainment coverage as being relatively petite, so when North stands close to her mother in recent photographs, viewers may notice that the height difference appears smaller than it once did.
However, side-by-side images are not reliable enough to produce a precise measurement.
Kim may be wearing heels while North is wearing trainers, or the opposite may be true. One person may be closer to the camera. Their posture can also change the apparent difference between them.
Therefore, statements such as “North reaches her mother’s shoulder, so she must be exactly this tall” should be treated as visual guesses rather than factual measurements.
What About Comparisons With Ye?
Comparing North with her father creates the same problem.
A photograph can give a rough sense of relative height when two people are standing directly beside each other on level ground. But unless their footwear, camera position and posture are known, converting that visual comparison into a precise number is unreliable.
Public photographs are useful for seeing how much North has grown over time. They are not a substitute for an actual measurement.
Why Accurate Sourcing Matters for Celebrity Height Articles
Height might seem like a harmless detail, but the wider lesson is important for celebrity information generally.
Search results often combine reputable reporting with biography sites, automatically generated profiles, fan pages and social media posts. Those sources are not equally reliable.
A good way to judge any celebrity fact is to ask:
Has the person or their representative confirmed it?
If not, has a reputable publication reported it with clear sourcing?
If the answer is still no, the information should usually be described as an estimate, rumour or unverified claim rather than stated as fact.
This is especially important when writing about children and teenagers because details such as height and appearance change quickly.
In North’s case, reliable publications can confirm her birthday, age, family relationships and public career activities. A precise current height is different because no similarly strong source appears to have documented it.
Should Online Height Estimates Be Trusted?
Not completely.
One recent UK-based article estimates that North is around 4 feet 11 inches tall, but it also acknowledges that the figure is not officially confirmed.
Elsewhere online, different numbers appear.
Without a reliable source explaining where a measurement came from, choosing one of these estimates would create a false sense of certainty.
It is therefore more accurate to say that public estimates exist but no definitive figure has been established.
That answer may be less dramatic than quoting a precise number, but it is considerably more useful for readers who want trustworthy information.
Will North West’s Height Continue to Change?
Quite possibly.
At 13, North is still at an age when physical development can continue. Exactly how much someone grows during their teenage years varies according to genetics and individual development.
It would therefore be inappropriate to predict her eventual adult height from photographs or family comparisons.
Even if a trustworthy measurement becomes available soon, it may need to be updated later.
Readers looking up her height in future years should always check the publication date of the information they find.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is North West’s confirmed height?
There is currently no widely documented official measurement from North West, her family or another authoritative source. Specific numbers published on celebrity websites should therefore be considered estimates unless they provide reliable sourcing.
How old is North West now?
North West was born on 15 June 2013 and turned 13 on 15 June 2026. Recent entertainment coverage published in September 2026 also identifies her as 13.
Why does North look so tall in recent photos?
She has naturally grown as she has entered her teenage years. Camera angles, footwear, posture and the height of people standing beside her can also affect how tall she appears.
Is North taller than Kim Kardashian?
Recent photographs can make North appear increasingly close to her mother’s height, but photographs alone are not reliable enough to establish an exact comparison. Footwear, perspective and posture can significantly affect appearances.
Are celebrity biography websites reliable for height information?
Some can be useful, but their information should always be checked against reputable reporting or primary sources. Height figures for children and teenagers are particularly likely to become outdated quickly.
Conclusion
There is plenty of online speculation about North West’s height, but a precise current measurement has not been reliably confirmed. Some websites publish estimates, while others carry outdated or unsupported figures.
What is firmly established is that North West is now 13 and has grown considerably since her early television appearances. As her public profile expands through music, fashion and live performance, photographs may continue to fuel curiosity about her height.
Until an authoritative source provides a measurement, however, the sensible approach is to treat exact figures as estimates rather than confirmed facts.
